This week has come and gone and I realized how slow I am at getting this updated. I am doing the same old thing. LAST week we went to St. George for a Conference and had a fun time. We had a golf tournament at my favorite Golf Course - Sky Mountain - and I won the ladies longest drive contest & $5o!! Bruce used his GPS to measure and I drove the ball 160 yards!! That was kinda fun!! We also went to Las Vegas one day and went to the Green Valley shops. That was fun, too! We never even went to the strip. We also had to check out a new golf course while we were there...and Bruce bought a ball for his collection! I got to see the Coldwater Creek (CWC) store and even bought a skirt at Talbots!! Bruce has all the photos on his computer at work, so I can't add them now.
While we were gone, Spence was supposed to go to Brazil to see Mara...but they would not let him go! Long story short...he went the next day and it cost him ANOTHER $2400!! He knew he had to go and he is so glad he did. He says Mara is even better than he expected her to be. They are being realistic and trying to talk about all the challenges ahead and decide if they should pursue the feelings they have for each other. Her Bishop even "interviewed" him down there!! He can't swim on the beach because of the sharks...that kinda made my day because he gave me such a hard time before he left (my favorite thing is to spend time at the beach...even swimming!!). He'll be home next week and we'll get more info!!
This next week will be a crazy one. I am participating in the breast cancer race and a Fashion Show done by our store. I will be beginning a training program to become an assistant store manager, too. I am looking forward to that...I really love CWC!! Then, the end of the month we are headed to Houston!! Yeah!! I hope they are ready for us!! We are very excited to see them and enjoy the visit!! Well, enjoy the day!!

Sounds like you've been busy. Wasn't you that didn't want Spencer to go to Brazil in the first place because he might want to bring a girl back? :) J/K sounds exciting and we can't wait to hear more.
WE ARE SO READY for your visit! Except we want everything to be 'just right' - since you only visit about every 5 years or so. So we'll fuss and fuss to get everything just right until you come and then we'll just ENJOY YOU and have fun!

Wow! That's a LOT! I'm so happy for Spencer and mara. I hope everything will work out just great for both of them and at the same time it brings so many memories...

busy, busy, busy life! You guys going to Texas, reminded me of the time when Jake and I went to visit Becky and Tony when we lived in Alamaba, and when they found out who we were there was a comment by the sunday school teacher about us being related to Bruce. I can't remember what it was all about, but it sure left a impression on her. : ) I think that was before I was even pregnant with Noah!! How time flies!! : )
