I started a new job yesterday and I am happy with it so far!! I am working in a bookstore (shocker, huh?) in Tooele from 10-3 Mon.-Fri. I still plan on being a substitute teacher, but try as I might, I can't seem to get the fingerprinting and background check done and everything tied down! So, for now, I needed a little distraction. It is alot of fun. I am hoping to make a difference in our business there due to all of my experience. I don't have to drive to Salt Lake anymore!!Yay!!
Before I was hired I told my boss that I needed tomorrow (Fri) off to go to the "Women in the Outdoors" which means that I will be learning all kinds of Mountain Man-type of skills. I will be camping out with one of my friends the whole weekend. I am really excited about it! Then after 2 more days of work, Bruce & I are off to San Antonio & Buda for 6 days. I am so looking forward to seeing Bridget & Tessie and seeing how grown up they are. I am excited to see Bridget's school and meet her teacher!! Then I come back for 2 weeks before heading for Vegas...tough life, huh??
I am starting to feel like Fall is coming...the leaves here in Utah are starting to change and I have gotten a few decorations out!! I love this time of year - football, crisp evenings, Halloween and Thanksgiving and everything snuggly! Enjoy your Fall days!!
