D-Day has arrived!!

As of tonight at 11:15, all my kids will be home again. I can't tell you all how much it means to have such a great blessing as having us all together again! I know for my Mom, she had us all together when Bruce & I were married and when my Dad died a year later. Even when she was so ill just before she died, my brother Mike went to Kuwait/Saudi Arabia before my oldest brother Ken could get home. We weren't able to get everyone home for her funeral, either. I hope my kids can be home more often than that. I feel bad because it was probably partly my fault for not going home more. Oh, well. Great place to start my Thankful list;

56- That my kids still WANT to come home and do!! I know it is hard and all the grandkids are nutty, but I love it all! Kai spilled fingernail polish on my table, chair & floor last night, but I am still so glad he was here and able to do crazy things.

57- I just noticed I haven't put Bruce on here yet!! Where is my head?? He should've been #1!!! I don't know who I would be if not for him. He has given me everything and continues to amaze me at his range of love and forgiveness and compassion for all of us. I love him more than anything else in my life and hope to be his equal someday...

58- Clickers for my car!! (Thanks, Sar!!) I love the convenience of them - especially when I have a grandkid, dog or groceries in my hand! To be able to open the trunk, a door or even hit the alarm to find it (again-I am old and can't remember where I parked!!).

59- I appreciate Customer Service people that I can call for help with anything 24 hrs a day!! (Sometimes, several times each day!!)

60- A special pop can opener I got as a gift that opens my pop cans without ruining my fingernails!! When I am not at home I really miss it!!

With ALL of my family home (almost) I have found that life is always better when they are all safely in my home again!! And to have the nieces & nephews, aunts & uncles and others that we care about home to honor our parents (grandparents, aunt & uncle, etc) on such a special occasion will make this such a memorable Holiday!! Thanks for the sacrifices and arrangements you have all made. It means SO MUCH...
