I'm Back!!

So, the last shall be first, I guess! I meant these to post at the bottom of my blog, but oh well! I got 2 very special gifts!! One was a set of pearls to go with my earrings Bruce gave me a while back!! They are so pretty and Spence actually picked them out for me!! He did a great job! The other was some new "Fishing pants!!" I am so excited...some of you may not know that last October my brother Mike let me "borrow" 2 pair of his. He lost enough weight the ensuing months after and wanted them back. I was in deepest mourning...these are THE BEST pants I ever wore... Bruce got me some for a surprise!! They are Carhartt pants and we actually had some here in Tooele at the...CAL Ranch store!! Yep--it's official...I bought clothes at a CAL Ranch Store!!
Then there is Divot keeping warm from all of the snow. There is a self-portrait of the highlights Jamie put in my hair...I am not too good at self-portraits!! She also straightened my hair that day!
Last, but not to be forgotten...our Christmas trees this year. No one brought the big one upstairs and I wasn't really in the mood to even decorate, so these made do.Sad, huh??

Just wanted to add some pictures from Christmas. I loved seeing other ones and I wanted to share some of ours. We had Bruce's folks, Jeremy's family and Spencer all home. We had a light dinner - mostly shrimp (Jeremy made the Red Lobster Coconut shrimp sauce that we LOVE) - and Grampy told the Christmas story which the girls helped with using Granny's newest Nativity scene (Heartwood Creek aka Jim Shore). Then we opened presents and played a bit!
I am not sure how these photos will post (I haven't figured all of that out yet!) but if it needs an explanation, I'll put it at the bottom of the page!!




The top photo is of the German Chocolate cookies Regan put on the family site. They are really yummy...I WILL make them again!!
Christmas jammies and the girls!! And, happy Spence on Christmas morning!! I did have a picture of Grampy holding our "Twelve Months of Texans" calendar - darling, Reg!! - but he complained that it wasn't a very good picture!! Sorry to Bruno & GG - I don't know why we didn't get a picture of you 2!! (Probably because I am not a good one for that!!) Jeremy, did you get one??
