It has been a busy 10 days! I have had the opportunity to sub twice..once in a first grade at Allie's school and once in a sixth grade at another school in Tooele. Both were great! I forgot how much I miss the kids.
I also have a gal that I visit teach (she has become like a real sister to me) that had a knee replacement last Tuesday and I have spent part of every day at the hospital with. She has Systemic Lupus and a couple of other illnesses and I take her to her other doctors quite often, also. Her brother is also quite ill and he fell on their stairs last weekend and broke his hip and is in the VA Hospital. He is in critical condition and not doing well due to his other problems, so while the rest of the family is with him, I have been with Shellie. Plus, trying to take care of their meals, etc!!
So, yesterday I decided to take a break and go to a six year olds' birthday party! What the heck! My friend Betsy had her son Chandler's party at Chuck E. Cheese in Salt Lake. This is a couple of pictures from the party... it was fun. My other friend, Jolyn, went with me and after we went to a couple of stores like Deseret Book and Wal-Mart (she used to work at the DB store in Bountiful with me (I kinda helped get her hired!) and lives out here by me). Spence & Bruce went to the car Show and then to Best Buy during this time.
Bruce is off tomorrow, so we'll be busy together - after I get Shellie home from the hospital, anyway!! Enjoy your Holiday! Oh...check out my new list of the books I have read so far in 2008! I want to count how many I read this year!! They aren't real heavy or doctrinal, but I AM reading!!

Oh yeah - the car show. How could I forget that that goes along with the tumor thing and MLK weekend?? Sounds like you're keeping really busy and having fun! I'd better not show Bridget the birthday pictures - too many questions to answer there.
Sounds like busy fun! I'm excited to see the list of books you're reading. Always looking for a good read!
I just re-read my last comment and I really didn't mean it to sound so mean! Sorry about that. Bridget hasn't been to Chuck E Cheese (that she remembers) and we try to avoid it! What did you guys do for MLK Day? Do they still call it Civil Rights Day in Utah?
WOW, you're ALMOST as busy as I am... Just kidding! :) I'm so glad that you LOVE your job and that you already got to sub twice! How fun...:)
And you're SO sweet and such a great friend! :)
