Just catching up! (Post #1)

Life at our house is always busy...not always exciting, but busy! This week I am babysitting Landon Barlow, who is the son of friends from Deseret Book (his dad manages the Riverdale store) while Jeff & Jessica are having a nice trip alone to St. George before baby #2 arrives on the scene in May. He is 22 months old and really a good little guy. Allie, Sabrina & Lauryn are sure enjoying him tonight! And, I am sure letting them - he loves it!! I had a cleaning surge this weekend and did everything EXCEPT my awful basement!! I am thinking I am going to just put it all back and call it good when the mood strikes me to finish. I am tired of seeing it down there! Here is a picture of Landon & Allie:Sabrina let me pull her tooth tonight. It has been kinda fun for me to help these little ones with this. She has NOT been too excited to have it pulled, but it was so loose that I told her it would hurt her more to fight me off!! So, it basically fell out when I grabbed it! She is very excited about it now!! If you blow the picture up, you'll see the tooth that has come in behind it, too! Here we are : (notice that Jamie did my hair last Saturday? I love it - what do you think? I asked her to put red in it, but she refused...something about looking my age, I think!! She did give me more blonde highlights on top, anyway!)I thought I would put some pictures of Zion on here, too. What a fun trip that was! Don't these 2 look like they are having SO much fun? We were!! I just feel so bad I got sick the next day. I am still dizzy most of the time and especially at night, but I don't get as sick-feeling anymore. What a weird experience!I had my MRI for my shoulder last week - finally. I decided I would have whatever surgery I need to to get it better. I can't sleep at night and I can't live on Loritab forever...nor do I want to! I am hoping my Doc will just say it is all in my head, but then I may have to have surgery on that, too! Either way I hope he can fix it!!
I have been teaching a bit! 6th, 1st, 3rd and so far a 6th the end of the month! I have had to turn down a few that I couldn't do because of doctor appts and babysitting, but hopefully as I get a chance to meet other teachers and (hopefully) some positive feedback from ones I have taught for gets spread around I will get more calls. Summertime will bring yet another opportunity to work somewhere fun!
Make it a good week! Our prayers are with the Hemmings and little Finn. I hope all the other expectant mothers are well and that everyone in the family is finding life full of adventure and love!! Life IS good!!

Wow! What a week you are in for! Good job on the tooth! DO NOT PUT IT ALL BACK IN YOUR BASEMENT--GET IT OUT!! Yes, the trip was fun to Zion. I thought you would post your self portrait with Jadyn...it is so cute! Or the deer. Come on lady!

I have way too much stuff and way too little time to go through it all right now!! After Disneyland & Texas maybe??
Self portrait showed too many wrinkles...sorry! I am putting the deer pics on, though!!

NO! Use those events as timers, you need to get it done before then! Come on, you can do it!

You stay pretty busy in there but I'm glad you get a chance to help everyone around -- I bet they're truly thankful and grateful... :)

And I like your hair a LOT! It's getting pretty long! :)

A WEEK!? I wish you luck. I can do grandkids easy (well, lovingly anyway), but a little friend for a week is intense! Good luck!!
