Jadyn made me a paper crown! She loves to do crafts and if you looked on Sarah's blog, you can see the gingerbread man we did together.
On Sunday, the 3 of us put up the tree and had to get it all on camera for Mara...they don't do this kind of thing!Did you notice I said the 3 of us??? It was so fun to do it together!! Thanks to my men for lighting a Christmas fire under this cold heart...I was about ready to turn into Scrooge this year!
Bruce & I before we left for the Credit Union party. It was held at Larry Miller's Sports Park this year...that is a change from the Eagles Nest where it has been held since WW2, I think!!I hope to get more on here before Christmas! We have a fun little anniversary date planned at the Las Vegas Bowl next Saturday. We are flying down and staying in Vegas - just the 2 of us! I am way excited for the game!! Hopefully I will get pics of all of that and our stop in St. George!
It looks like it will be an "off" year...no Texans or St. Georgians for Christmas! Time to REALLY start planning our trips around to the kids' homes for the Holidays!!
Enjoy your Christmas preparations and let's all try to remember what this season is truly about!! I am so grateful for loving friends and family and for the knowledge that Christ does indeed live and has given us the direction we should live our lives. Be generous to others that don't have the blessings that we do. I don't think there is a person that reads my blog that doesn't have enough to share with those who are hurting and needy at this time.
Please pray especially for our dear friends the Austill family who just lost their Dad 36 hours ago and will miss him terribly during this season of family and love. We will miss Ellis and his sense of humor and seeing the love he shared with his sweet family. We are all so blessed to have the knowledge that they will be reunited again!

Nice! Everything looks great. We even had a tiny bit of snow last night! I want to see more of your outfit from the Christmas party - it looks really pretty! And Tess has that same shirt Jadyn is wearing - from Carter's.

How fun! I am going to miss Stansbury this year for Christmas. I didn't think that I would miss the snow, but I already do! Your house looks great, and as I said on Facebook, it is too bad you aren't going to a REAL bowl game (like another fantastic team from Utah is), but I guess the Vegas Bowl will have to do! ;) I love to tease you!
