Time is flying!

I can't believe it is the end of January already!! It has been so cold and stormy this month that I feel like counting down till Spring. I am not usually one to wish the time away, but I am making an exception this year!! I am so tired of the snow...today I walked out of Church and the snow was really flying!! Jamie just did my hair and I was worried it would go curly too soon. I love having Jamie straighten my hair! Actually, I love it when Jamie does ANYTHING with my hair!!
I just want the snow and freezing cold (not to mention the fog/haze) to go away!!

I actually have had 2 inerviews/tests to get a job at Harland Clarke...where Spencer works. I should hear tomorrow if I am hired. I hope it works out...I need to start focusing on other things during the day. I spend too much time on the internet and spending money is just too easy!! I think Bruce will be glad, too! I only worry about my age...I know sometimes they don't like to hire people that are older.
Spencer is home with me tonight. Some of you may not know that Bruce was put into the Bishopric in our ward last week. He is at training tonight (I told him I thought HE should teach it!!) and Spence just made awesome choc chip cookies and surprised all of the Bishoprics & Stake Presy with 2 dozen! Now he is making more for us! I also have Sabrina & Lauryn over tonight b/c J & J took Allie to the Baptism Preview tonight. Hard to believe she will be 8 in just 3 months!! We have also had Spencer's friend, Kenny Leslie with his wife & adorable 4 month old son AND Kenny's younger brother who just got home from his mission to Mexico staying with us since Friday. Jake reported his mission today in his old ward's Sacrament Mtg...they now live in Boise, where Lee (the Dad) is coaching the indoor arena football team. Lee used to be the THS football coach when Spence's team won the state championship! Kenny & Spence played the same position. ANYWHOOO...life is busy for us this weekend! That is a good thing!
It is also much easier without Ozzy. I do miss him sometimes, but know we did the right thing.
Thanks for the idea on the list of 99 things I have or haven't done, Beck!! It really was fun and I am still smirking at some of the quirky things I have done in my life...like skinny-dipping at 51 years old!! I guess it's never too late, eh??

PS-- I have just finished the book, "Return From Tomorrow" about a man dying and returning to life. Great book! I recommend it!!
