This has been a crazy week for us in Stansbury. Beginning with Spencer, he has all the signs of a love-sick puppy. He wants to get Mara here so bad, but things keep popping up. We keep telling him to have faith and believe as strongly as he did when he knew he was supposed to go back to meet her. Satan is VERY MUCH alive and is trying to thwart all good and positive experiences and we need to try to be strong and not waver...knowing that sometimes that is easier said than done, I hope we can all be as helpful and positive as we can to get them through this difficult time. They do seem to move past each obstacle fairly smoothly, but there are always obstacles! Sounds familiar to all of us, huh??
Bruce has been involved in a couple of golf tournaments and has been generally pretty busy with work and church. We had a YSA activity Saturday morning and Spence & I went and I got to help make breakfast and get them all going to a paintball activity. Bruce's allergies have been acting up and the cottonwood trees were really bad, so we didn't go, but Spence had a great time with friends.
I have been nuts with work...this is a great 4-hr a day/3 days a week job! On my last paycheck, I had 3 hours of overtime!! And all this week I am scheduled for 9-6 every day until Friday! I am a bit burned out. In my spare time, I sleep. (I do watch American Idol every week) Sometimes I even do the laundry, but usually that is only if I need new undies the next day!! Bruce did let me go out to lunch with a friend on Saturday! I love having friends and being able to keep in touch.
We are so looking forward to going to Texas on Friday. Just being together and actually being together will be nice. We go places now, but we don't really get to be together - know what I mean?? Tonight after work, Bruce & Spence met me at the Gateway and we saw "Shrek 3" together. It was a CU thing, so we didn't sit by each other because B's boss sat by him and Spence sat between us and Bruce was being his usual social self. None of that is negative, but it hinders communication between us...including smooching during the movie!! We will just relax this weekend...no big plans!! Except we get to play with Bridget & Tess! Sar & her kids are coming tomorrow and we always get to see J & J's girls, so we feel lucky to have some close and the opportunity to see far-away ones!!
Well, I hope I haven't bored anyone! I told you my life is not too exciting!! Love you all--

It sounds pretty exciting to me! I'm glad to have the update.
Don't hesitate to shoot any visa questions our way...
Good luck with it all and know that the end does eventually come! But then she'll have to meet Grandpa G... hmmm....

CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE YOU HERE!! I wish we could be a 5 star spa resort for the two of you to lounge! Instead we'll be a good 3 star bed and breakfast with loving employees!
Give Spence our love and let him know we're excited for them.
Glad to hear the update! Somehow we're in that time of life where we just manage things around us - chasing the kids - and somehow missing looking in each others eyes. It really is the simple things - holding hands, having time to talk etc. Enjoy that time! Love yoU!
I wish we could fly to Texas this weekend, so we could see you guys!
