They can't really call it a race...there were so many people there was no room to run!! But, it was quite an experience. So Many People!! So Much Pink!! I feel so blessed to have the health I have. I have heard so many survivor stories it makes me choke up a bit now to think of what these women went through. I knew about Michele and prayed for her, but now I wish I could've done more to help. I am planning this again because I felt so united in purpose and like I was helping someone else. I wore Michele's name on my shirt and a picture of a 10 month old with neuroblastoma who is in the hospital. Her Grandma & I work together and she told me her story. So sad for a baby!! There was supposed to be 16,000 people walking, but it seemed like more!!
I also had a very nice visit from Jake & Julie & family!! That was so cool! I wish I could've visited more, though. Thanks for coming to see me!! After you left, everyone kept asking about the twins!!
I worked 10-6 today, too, and I am pooped!! But feeling good!!
Be good to your Mothers tomorrow!!

I tried to call to check on the 'race', but I only got your answering machine. I'm glad to hear that you survived! Thanks for the update!
So glad you could participate in such a great cause! Hope recovery is going well :)
