Another super Saturday!!

Yesterday escaped me...I am not sure what happened to the full 24 hours, but I am back and ready to get my Saturday moving!! We have been trying to plan for Thanksgiving (food alone is a trial...) and then you add entertainment, sleeping arrangements, etc and it becomes consuming! I have been trying to work on my house (less clutter, more space=less stress!) and get my church assignments and compassionate service in - whew!! It is a good thing I am not working!! As I have done this, I have been thinking about being thankful for all that I have and all that I have ever had - or not had, whatever!
27- I am thankful that my Mom made me work around the house. Even the jobs I hated like cleaning ashtrays and picking up beer and liquor bottles. It kinda prepared me to do things that are not always pleasant but need to be done!
28- Believe it or not (those who know me) I am glad I was raised the way I was. I would not be who I am now and would not recognize all of my blessings at this stage of the game!! It WAS hard sometimes, but I am better for it.
29- I am grateful to have a sound mind (no jokes, please!) and body. I may complain about aches & pains, but I am in good health and can get my body to do what it needs to when I need it to. My mind seems to be ok most of the time, but I have family to help me when I need it (you know who you are...)
30- I have a beautiful silk robe that a friend brought me from Thailand several years ago that I have only been able to wear recently (with any degree of modesty) that I love. It is bright yellow and is so pretty. I feel very feminine in it and it cheers me up to wear it. I am so glad I didn't throw it out when I was too large for it. It brings me joy to wear it!!
Have a fun Saturday!! I will get more work done today in preparation for next week!! I am getting so excited to see all of you! Life is good!
