As everyone knows, my shoulders have been bugging me lately. Yesterday I decided to go have a shot of cortisone in the RIGHT one, even though it didn't work in the left one a few weeks ago. Ouch!!! He hit the bone twice before he found the right spot! Long story short...I am in alot of pain again today, but am hopeful it will work with this shoulder. Our heater has decided to quit working today also, so I am freezing, too. There are alot of people who don't have such easy problems as these, I realize, but this is what I am dealing with right now. Needless to say, I am behind on my list...oh, well. I may not get to 150 things. This is harder than it seems at first!!
21-I am grateful for Jadyn. It is her birthday today and I am so glad she was born! Each grandchild brings such a special spirit with them and they are all different! We enjoy many things together and with Jadyn, she has inherited my LOVE of shopping. We can spend hours trying on clothes and deciding what to buy. She is always wanting to find something for her brother or her Mom & Dad, too. That says alot about her that she wants to get things for others. Anyway, Happy Birthday, babe, and I love you!!
22-I am grateful for my Relief Society President. She will never read this, but I want you to know what a great one I have. She has saved my life on occasion and is such a good friend. She calls me up to chat--even when I was in Hawaii--and invites me out to dinner with her. (besides the usual RS stuff). The church has a great system in place with inspired people to lift and help us. Her name is Bunnie and it fits her so well!
23-I love shoes - all kinds! I love that I get to choose what to wear depending what mood I am in. Some days the tennies are just right...most times it is a pair of flip-flops (just deciding on which color of flip-flops is the problem...). Sassy moods call for a spikey heel or a pair of cute boots. They put me in a good mood. I especially love dressing up for Sundays...
24-Scented candles. Who doesn't love a good scent like sugar cookie permeating their house??
25-My Notre Dame hoody. Weird, huh?? It is the best sweatshirt in the world. It is always warm, always a comfort. I had to trade Spence for a BYU sweatshirt for it, but I got the best end of that deal!! It is gold and has "Irish Football" on it. Why would Spence want it?? I don't care what it says...
26-Hot oatmeal on a cold day--like today!! I love the weight watchers kind. It is yummy and I'm not too into the fruity kind. Keeps me going all day...
Well, this is all my shoulder can handle for today. After reading through this, I am beginning to see I am a creature of comfort. Real emotional and wanting warmth and convenience.Interesting...
Even with a bum shoulder...Life is Good!!

Love your list!! But don't miss out on a number just because you numbered 25 twice. We got 6 today! :)
I really relate to the candles!
Hope you feel better really soon! No fun!!
Brent was telling me about cortisone shots and how they work. I'd always heard that was painful, but yikes! Your perspective today made me think of something a little odd that I'm thankful for: Paying bills! Sure, it's not fun, but paying them is a lot better than not being able to pay them! I'm enjoying your list and hope you feel better soon.
I feel so bad---- you came over yesterday and put all those books up in the shelfs----- and you with both shoulders hurting..I do thank you for putting the books up. It was so much easier today when Gene and I were down working.. Its going to take alot of looking through boxes BUT we will work on those this winter....Hope that you are feeling much much better. Thanks again--- Love ya
