Today was one of those days that you have to plan for. Maybe it is because I am lazy, but generally I LOVE to sleep in on Saturday. Like until 11 or so. No little kids at home is a blessing sometimes...you with little ones - your time is coming!! Anyway, Bruce & I started planning yesterday what we would do today. I was up around 7:30...not so Bruce. He did make it by 10. In all fairness, I was in a lot of pain all night with my shoulders and only actually slept from 4:30 until 7:30. (I haven't figured out yet how to know if I will be in pain before I go to bed and I hate [strong word, I know!] taking medications that make me woozy!) On top of that, if you take the meds too late, you are zonked all day...what a choice! Anyway, we went shopping and bought a new hide-a-bed for the basement to go with the big screen TV we got last week. We figure no one will be bored at Thanksgiving this way...a game in 3 or 4 rooms!! The big TV downstairs will be hooked up to Dance Revolution, Karaoke and the guitar game so those wanting a little musical or dance competition will be set! We had lunch and went to Tai Pan Trading to look at Christmas decorations and then came home and had pizza. Mostly meandering, but together is the best part!! If we would've felt better (I am still hurting) we were going to start the prep work on the paint in the living room...another time soon!!
Here's my daily 5 ---
11- my car. It isn't the sportiest in the family, or the fastest (it does ok!!) but it is mine and it is clean!! It has my music in the CD changer, my "ugly" decals on the gas tank door (mostly for identification from afar), and my necessities in the glove box (gum, lipstick,kleenex,phone charger,scissors). It is nice to have my own something...
12- Diet Dr. Pepper with Berries & Cream...what a shock!! It is like a warm blanket for me... and it is getting harder to find - bummer!
13- Pizza Hut pizza. The BEST pizza (pan crust for sure!) there is. Cheese is my favorite.
14- My little buddy Divot! He is a pain sometimes to be sure, but he is such a fun little guy. He sees me about to climb into bed and the race is on!! He usually beats me under the covers and then he likes me to play and scratch him for awhile. He shows his love to us by laying next to us and cuddling up. Then, when the lights go out, it is "kennel time". He hops down and goes right into his kennel for the night - it is so cute.
15- an automatic ice cube maker. Why did I wait so long to get one?? As much liquid as is consumed in this house, we would need 14 trays of ice each day...yuck!!
Well, if you are just catching up on all the blogs as I sometimes do, I apologize to have such long ones. I am usually not this chatty, I don't think. Lots of things to think about, I guess!! It has been a good day here - hope it has been for all of you!!

I like your car, too! The decal on the gas cap helped me find it! I also like your ice cube tray idea~hadn't thought of that, but I so agree! Hope you feel better. I thought you just painted the living room??
I only painted the one RED wall (and I still haven't been forgiven!) so we want to do all the others. My hope is to paint the front bedroom as well.
Sounds like your day together was perfect...thats the kind to have.
I know what you mean about Divot racing you to the bedroom :)
