I am pooped!! Life just keeps getting crazy on me! I am glad to be home again.
The services for Orv went fairly smooth...in a Catholic Mass sort of way - know what I mean? The incense about overtook me!! My niece, Jackie & I thought we were going to suffocate in it! My Uncle Gene (my Mom's brother, sat next to me and said "This is a little different than the way Presbyterians do it!". So, I said "Alot different than Mormons do it, too!". To which he replied, "I am surprised they haven't kicked you out yet!!". That was the best part of the service...no disrespect to Orv intended. He took his religion quite seriously. But, Uncle Gene & I were a little rowdy and it was really fun! We buried his ashes by my Mom and that was REALLY nice. Just a few family members there...but it was pouring rain!
The next day was awful - weather wise - but on Wednesday, we went fly fishing! I was in a float tube on Amber Lake. It was so fun!! Mike likes to take me fishing only because I love it so much...I am really not very good. I didn't catch anything, but he caught 2 rainbows. It was 50 degrees on that lake...so cold! And, I was in the lake literally! We left when it really started to pour and the wind worsened. But, at least I got to go!!
I am still in physical therapy...when I am in town. It is going slow...could be because I don't stretch at home as much as I should! Sometimes it hurts SO bad!!
Bruce & I went to a concert in the park at Brigham Young Historic Park. We saw "Joshua Creek" again. We really love their music and are excited that they are releasing a new album in October geared to Sunday listening. Woo hoo!!
We just got back from St. George. All 3 of us actually had a weekend off together, so off we went! It was really a fun time and thanks to the Reber's for everything!!
Back to the grind...not that I actually have anything pressing to do...just dishes and spraying weeds!
OH!! I forgot. I am doing the same questions Regan has on her blog...
My to do list:
1-rake pine needles out front
2-clean my bathroom...not my fav thing to do-ever!
3-clean out garage...it needs it bad!
4-clean basement...again! This is never done!
5-remember to take Papa & Gramma to the airport tomorrow morning!
5 of my fav snacks:
1-peanut butter m& m's
2-whole, natural almonds (HEB are best!)
3-whole wheat pretzel twists
4-garden salsa Sun Chips
5-peanut butter ice cream
If I became a millionaire I would:
1-buy my kids a house and new cars!
2-pay off the gov't to get Mara here tomorrow!!!
3-pay off whatever debt we have...Bruce knows what it is, not me!
4-buy my own jet...a big one! and go to Texas & Hawaii as often as I want!
5-save the rest until I figure who else needs help!
Places I've lived:
1-Germany
2-No. California
3-So. California
4-Spokane
5-Pocatello
Jobs I've had: I've had many...these are kinda bizarre ones!
1-Shipping clerk at Provo Craft (I did this to help out a friend and was there longer than I wanted to be!)
2-Asst. Director of activities at a nursing home (I was 19 and my Dad was the director!)
3-I was dunked in a dunk tank at several carnivals as a junior in HS and employed by Pepsi Co. (also a favor to a friend that lasted too long!)
4-1 day cleaning & stocking a Texaco station...can you imagine the rest rooms? 1 day was too long!
5-McDonalds...not too proud to admit it...and I was in my 40's!!
What people don't know about me:
1-I need people around me. I would die if I couldn't have contact with alot of people every day!
2-I always wanted to be a flight attendant
3-When my kids were little I KNEW our mobile home was going to catch fire and every night I ran through our emergency plan in my head before I went to sleep! Weird, I know!
4-Some people know this, but I assign letters of the alphabet a number (a=1, b=2, etc!) and add up the letters in your name, etc. I have done this since I was tiny and I told Bruce on the day we were married b/c I was worried he would think there was something wrong with me!
5-I want to please everyone, even when it hurts me to do so. I wish I could control this, but I can't.
So, there it is. Me in a nutshell!!
Enjoy these pics...I am not even going to try to write by them b/c it never works!!

Fun post! I knew a lot of the stuff about you, but not that you wanted to be a flight attendant. That actually would have been a fun job for you I'm sure. And some of your 'jobs'. :)
It's so funny to go back and forth between yours and Sarah's blogs to see what you've been up to!
I just love it when you and Jadyn are matching! Did you go shopping, too? I was just thinking the other day that if I had The Pizza Factory as close as Sarah does, I'd never cook again. And here you are posting pictures, just to make me jealous! Looks like lots of fun!
