but, please be kind!! I got this idea from Regan & Sarah. You are supposed to write a memory that you have of me and then ask people to do the same on your blog. Fun idea, not sure how many will respond, though!! But, what the heck...
I remember you coming to visit years ago - I think we just had Kimball. Maybe it was for a funeral? Don't remember the reason - anyway, We had such a nice time together doing some shopping and talking. That is many of my memories of you - having a great chat together. I always felt better after talking :) Have a great day!
Sheesh, how do you choose one memory about your mom?? Let's go with when you were teaching me to drive. It was always your job, unless it was learning to drive a stick shift. I remember lots of days driving your good old red minivan 'round and 'round the curve at Grandview, and then back home. I felt so grown-up, driving that minivan down the street with you next to me! And you were usually always so patient with me.
The first thing that comes to mind was the first time you came to our home in Spokane...MiMi answered the door and you asked for Bruce, You brushed past her and went down stairs.. And MiMi explained "YOU LITTLE HUSSY" We love you
Sharon, I’ve been thinking all day about which memory I should share. There are so many! But I decided on one that you probably don’t even remember. Years ago when we were young marrieds you guys had a washer and dryer and we didn’t. You let me use yours, so long as I remembered to empty the lint filter each time. You showed me how to clean it. I still think of that every time I empty my lint filter to this day! How’s that for a memory that keeps on giving?? You’re part of every wash day for me! :)
Geez I am not sure where to begin, but my fondest memories of you were when I got to stay with you while my parents were in NY. It was so nice of you to let me stay and I loved making suckers, and embossing stamps, and putting diapers on Tiffany when she was in heat ;) with you guys! Thanks so much for everything you did for me. I have truly never forgotten it!
Just a comment to Becky...that lint thing goes back to my fear of having a house fire. I used to plan an evacuation every night when I went to bed...how sad and disturbing is that?? Luckily for me...no house fires!! Reg...USUALLY always patient with you?? You have no idea what my insides were doing every time I tried to teach a child to drive!! (But, you will! What a great concept!!)
I remember when you first moved into your home in Stansbury and you and my mom "arranged" me staying at your house for a week with Sarah. I thought you and my mom were crazy! But by the end of the week I feel in love with Sarah, and then with you (not in the gross kind of way, I mean like you were my second mom). I always appreciated that you never judged me, and I felt like you trusted me. I knew I could always come to you if I needed anything. Alright, that was a lot of info jumbled together. I hope it made sense. Girls camp WAS awesome!
Something must have happened with teaching Regan to drive because Dad taught me and when it came to the stick, you put me on Bangeter and said, "Go!"
My memory would have to be learning the "Running Man" outside a restaurant in Salt Lake and laughing so hard with Julie Young. That was right after we made a list of all the ways we could think of to say someone was missing somoething, "A few tacos short of a combination platter!"
I'm so excited to find people I haven't talked to for years. I'm glad you found my blog. You look great. I have sooo many memories and they're all good. Mostly the fun girls camp times at Shalom. You were so fun to be with. I loved babysitting your kids and I loved making BYU suckers at your house. I still want to try making those again. Tiffany (Austill) Burt
Hey it's me again. I've received comments from sarah and I love them, they made me laugh but I can't comment back to her. I would love to see her blog if she wants me to. could you pass this along thanks.

One more thing. Do you still keep in touch with Sunny?
Your SMILE is the one thing that stands out for me. Honestly, I've thought about this and that's what keeps coming at me, that and your laugh!
