Back in the saddle!

I have been absent from my blog for over a month, but it is time to add another post! I see myself in others' blogs and realize I don't need to add more abt what I am doing b/c they have already told you! Our trips to St. George, and Texas were wonderful, though! I will add photos that I took while there, also. It is always fun to celebrate those grandkids' birthdays (and yours, too, Regan!) and we have Sabrina's coming up soon!
We have also added a new member to this family of ours here in Stansbury! His name is Ozzy...and I sometimes think we are crazy, but he is so cute! I have always wanted a therapy dog and he will make a great one. I just didn't know I wanted him so soon! They actually gave us 85% off original price, so $200.00 bucks was a great price! He is a Goldendoodle...half Golden Retriever and half Standard Poodle. A special (they call them designer breeds) , fairly new breed that is great b/c they don't shed like a Golden, but still have the personality. He is also supposedly hypo-allergenic! He is full of personality, let me tell ya! All puppy still, though! He is 4 months old and we no longer have tomatoes and only 1 zucchini that will survive...if I watch him when he goes out! He started obedience classes last night and the instructor told me he was smart and a fast learner...we'll see! There are only 4 dogs in the class, so that is good. He made fast friends with a beagle named Buddy.
Last Monday night I got to go to see Sheryl Crow in concert! Bruce & I went last month to see James Taylor and it was excellent!! Great music and lots of memories! I took my friend Jolyn to Sheryl Crow. Bruce bought the tickets and I am so appreciative of him doing that for me! I don't agree with her politics, but I love her old music. More beer drinkers this time, but great music just the same! The first thing she did was flash a huge peace sign on the curtain behind her and I got a little nervous, but after her first song it was gone. I love doing this sort of thing. It was at the Usahna Amphitheater...all outdoors and it was a beautiful night for both concerts! Can hardly wait to go again.
Speaking of going again...we head off to Monterrey, Calif. on Sept.17th. The Credit Union Board & Management have their planning meetings there this year and I am hoping we get good weather. I have learned alot lately not to plan on good weather, just be grateful when you time it right!!
So, that is what I can think of abt my life lately! I did get a new calling a couple of weeks ago...YW Sports Director...I am excited abt that, but haven't been contacted by anyone yet abt meetings, etc. Hope it goes well...
My love to all who read this, cause I know if you came here to read this, you are one of the best people in my life and I thank you for caring!! Make it a great day!!

Awww, Bridget sure misses Doodle-Dude! You forgot to mention that you bought him in Texas and had to fly him home! Looks like you've been staying busy. I want to go to Monterey, too. Cute pictures!

We just took princess in to the vet for shots, and he was telling me about these retriever/poodle mixes!! If your has half as much energy as ours does, good luck keeping the back yard up. : ) Sure are loving dogs though!!: )
