Oh, my gosh!!!! I had written out this huge long post of my weekend and this idiotic blogger thing deleted it...or didn't save it...whatever!!! Frustration doesn't even begin to describe my thoughts here...y'all know how SLOW I am at typing...arrgghh!!! So, it was really witty, too. I'll give it another go...sans the witty, cause that only happens in a blue moon!!
I had a wonderful weekend with 28 women I have never met before. We played Cowgirl Bunco...my first time playing Bunco, and we stayed up talking and laughing until after midnight every night. There were women from 5 different states there, too. We spent 8 hours on horses/mules riding in Red Canyon at Bryce with 1 potty stop and lunch at the hideout. We had 4 "Cowboys" aged 18-24 years old as our guides that told us lots of cool stories about Butch. Did you know he was a butcher before he was an outlaw...hence the nickname?? He was alot of things before he started robbing banks. But, he was NOT a horse stealer. One time he was wrongly accused of stealing a horse, but wouldn't leave the jail cell after serving time UNTIL they cleared his name. His father came to get him and the cell door was open and he wouldn't leave until he was cleared!! He took on the name of Cassidy from a close older friend of his to hide his real last name of Parker. One time he met a lady in tears because the bank was going to take her ranch. He gave her the $1000 she needed and then he held up the banker when he left her ranch and got his money back!! Such a character!!
I had the best Coconut Pie ever at the Bryce Canyon Pines Motel Restaurant!! I think I would like to go back just to eat there!!
I thoroughly enjoyed my weekend. Would've been better with Bruce, but the ladies would've thought that a bit weird! Maybe after my backside has stopped hurting we can go and do this together! Oh, baby!! Am I sore, though!!

Cool pics! I love it - fancy pants, manicured nails and designer sunglasses! Did you realize that you're the only one not in blue jeans?? I'm so glad you had a good time. It really does sound fun - if it wasn't for all that time on horseback! Hope you recover soon.
I heard you were walking funny! Glad you had a great time and sorry that the first attempt at writing didn't work out.
Nope...I did not realize that I was the only one NOT in jeans!! Those are my Carhartt pants that I love and that I have not been able to fit into in months...that I can now wear again!! Woo-hoo!! I am better this afternoon...just a teeny bit tender!! I would do it again in a heartbeat!! The next activity i want to do is river rafting in Moab in June!!!
