A little more St. George and a little Thanksgiving!

I finally got my pics put on my computer of Jadyn's party and my stint as show-n-tell for Kai, so here are a couple of those!! I also had a chance to see Rachel Ann Nunes at Deseret Book in St. George. I had taken her to a couple of schools in Magna when I used to work for DB and it was fun to get to visit again!! She is such a nice and very genuine person...can't say that about everyone I met through DB!!
We had a pretty low-key Thanksgiving. Just the 8 of us and a really good meal. I am very proud of myself for not over-eating this year. Some played Monopoly while the rest of us watched Christmas movies till about 10. Then we went to sleep. Nothing exciting...just calm.
The rest of the weekend was spent doing our own things. Some had to work, then there was this football game...always a HUGE rivalry in this state. Luckily, BYU won or it would've been miserable around here!! Mara and I put out the Nativity's and then the Santa/Snowman figures. She had fun with that, I think. Her family doesn't have a Nativity set...that would be a good thing to send...I just wish I had known sooner!! It won't get there in time for this year.

I bought a gift at Disneyland and it is the ONLY one I have gotten so far. I am having a really hard time with Christmas this year...I guess too much stress here, but just am not excited at all. I do need to go get the kids something, but I need a kick in the pants to get moving. I think Bruce is feeling the same way...work is crazy for him. He is doing the job of 2+ people and he is tired. Hopefully, we can get some time & "tude" to do it!! I have been babysitting 2 teens and a cat all week and they are gone to grandmas this weekend. No time like now, I guess!!

I asked everyone at our Thanksgiving what food they liked best from our meal...nothing surprising here...

I LOVE rassleberry (?) pie! I would have eaten a little piece. Our decorations are kind of 'up high' due to a 3 foot reach by a certain almost 2 year old. Dinner sure looks like it was good!

We love the video! So fun to see and hear everybody. I wasn't feeling excited about Christmas and have really had to make a special effort, but now it's better. Still not sure what we're going to do on the actual holiday. We were talking about how long it's been since we've been back there for Thanksgiving or Christmas - too long!

Tess likes your Santas and nativities!

I just saw this post! So cute. What is up with Grizzly Adams at the table (aka Jeremy)?

Cute video too.
