We have had a FUN weekend around here...not! Bruce & I did get out to dinner on Friday night and we even did a bit of golf tourney-shopping, but Saturday & Sunday were a bomb. Bruce needed to write his Sacrament talk down on Sat. morning while I did laundry, cleaned the house and mailed a package to Buda. He hadn't quite finished when a migraine hit him. First he told me his eye was bothering him, then the headache hit. From about 2:00 on, he was in bed. So much for our golfing plans in Smithfield (or somewhere by Logan!). We were planning on a picnic, etc. So, he was sleeping and I decided to sleep, too! (I needed a little help, though!) I slept on the couch until 10:30 or so, then joined him in bed. He woke me up a few times not feeling well and at 6:45 I had to make the call to our Stake Pres. that he would not be speaking nor would he be in High Council. Poor Bruce - he was so miserable! Spence got in around 3 am I think, and was dead for Church at 9, so guess who got to go by herself? That is always fun...with a capital F!! Spence did make it to Sacrament on time, so I had him to sit by.
Meanwhile, Bruce's head was worse and his eye looked awful. We looked it up and he has "Blepharitis", which he has had before, but he forgot. He rubs his eyes too much!! It is 11:45 pm and his head is a little better, but his eye is worse. We have put medicine in it and hopefully it will be better soon. I think he is ready to feel better by now. Lovely, isn't it??
Can I just say here that it has been a lousy weekend??? I am looking forward to a better week!! Hope yours is glorious!!

He looks like he's winking! Sorry your weekend was yucky. Mimi would tell him not to rub his eyes - I still think of her telling me I'd get cataracts. We're excited to get a package, though! ;)
OH...you caught on to that little bit of info, did you? His eye is worse this morning, but he got up and went to work anyway. He can't see out of it!! I told him he needed to stay home again, but you know your Dad! It is really swollen this morning! I hope the headache doesn't come back!
He has been having those headaches much to often,and his poor eye--:(

Wow - that's a lovely shot! I've never heard of it either, luckily. If you were digi scrapping, Sharon, you would have had an uninterupted weekend! :)
What does Spencer find to do until 3am? Hasn't he heard that nothing good happens after midnight??
So sorry to hear that, especially that we're having a blast in Texas,it's hard to imagine someone else can have such a hard time...
I hope Bruce's feeling better and his eye looks better, too!!!
